On My Own

My mom and dad decided to go on a trip for their 5th wedding anniversary. After convincing them that it would be best to go without me, I tried talking them into letting me stay at the house by myself (you know, so I could have a few of my best pals over). They didn't think I was old enough to handle the responsibility. They sent my Grammy and Grandpa down to look after me instead.

I kept them very busy!

We played and read books.

I made lots of messes (some that I'm not allowed to show).

We even went up to the Lake for the weekend and I got to go to the Beach Bar (just milk for me though)!

Now I realize that it would have been pretty rough without Grammy and Grandpa to take care of me. I'm not really good at cleaning up my messes (both kinds) all by myself. And they helped me miss Mommy and Daddy a little less.
