I Thought Jake was a baby!

We took a trip to "the Jake" to see the Tigers play the Indians for my Daddy's birthday. (It was a little foggy that day.)

This baseball field is a little bigger than the Mudhen's field.

Grandpa and Grammy came too! Here I am watching the game with Grandpa.

We shared an ice cream cone (I ate most of it).

We had a great day together! And my Daddy was happy because his team won.

A Trip to "the Shoe"

My wardrode seems to have a lot of scarlet and grey in it these days. That could only mean one thing- FOOTBALL SEASON IS HERE AGAIN! Last night Mommy and Daddy took me to Ohio Stadium for the first time to meet some of the football players.

Hey, I didn't know football players came this small! Just kidding- this is actually my buddy Henry. His parents are crazy Buckeye fans too. See how happy we both are to be here?

Wow, this place is HUGE! Seeing all the players and being this close to the field is pretty exciting.

Brings back memories of my very first Buckeye game!

This year the bow fits a lot better! The crowds got to be a bit much last night, so me and Mommy left the autographs up to Daddy. Look at all the players Daddy met for me! O-H, I-O!

The Saparas Visit!

My cousins Jordan and Mikey and my Aunt Beth just came to pay me a visit! We did lots of fun things together.

We all went to eat at Dave and Buster's. It's Jordan's favorite place.

We took them to the zoo. They got to see the same baby elephant that I saw a few weeks ago!

Here's me and Aunt Beth checking out the farm animals.

We played outside. Me and Mikey liked swinging on the hammock!

Me next Daddy!

Me and Mikey had fun playing together. He's really good at sharing.

On the Road Again

It's been a while since I've traveled up north to see my Grandmas and Grandpas, so me and Mommy decided to make a short trip this week.

First we headed to Nan and Grampa's. They took me on a stroller ride. Hey, where's my kiss?

Then they treated me to a little ice cream (don't tell Mommy and Daddy)!

The next day we went to Grammy and Grandpa's house. I helped Grammy get ready for a family cookout she was having that night.

As usual, I was quite the party girl! I talked girl-talk with my cousins Leah and Jill.

I met my cousin Jaime for the first time.

I played my latest concerto for his son Tyler.

And then for Grammy and Grandpa.

I dazzled Gi-Gi with my page-turning skills.

And I read to Aunt Lo.

My cousin Justin and me had a little cuddle.
Whew! That was a lot in one trip. I need to go home and sleep it off.

A Night on the Town

My Aunt Mel and Uncle Tolga came to visit me this weekend so I decided to show them a night on the town. We went to the Gallery Hop in the Short North.

I played a little peek-a-boo with Uncle Tolga to keep things interesting.

I treated them to some live music.

I invited our cousin Kelly for some good laughs.

I think I showed everyone a good time. They sure got up late the next day!

Thanks for coming to see me Aunt Mel and Uncle Tolga! I hope you come back again soon!

One Month To Go!

I am eleven months old today! Only one month left until my first birthday! The plans for the big bash are already underway.

This month seemed to really fly by, but that didn't stop me from growing and learning. Much to my mommy's delight, my new favorite activity is looking at books. I just love dragging them out of my basket or bookshelf and touching everything on the page. I'll even sit still when you read to me!

Another favorite is this crab,

my stacking cups,

and Kitty.

I've also learned several new and impressive tricks. I can now sign "thank you". I dazzled Mommy the other night by signing "more please" when she was giving me a snack. I'm practicing good manners.

Here I am giving kisses. Mommy and Daddy think this is really funny!

I'm holding off on learning to walk because I've just discovered I can get around faster on my hands and knees. I'm working on perfecting this tricky skill!

I also got my first top tooth. Pass the steak, please!

I also like to boogy down (that's dance for you less hip folk) and sing along. I can hum the night-night song before bedtime. It seems like these days I learn something new every day!

Back to the Future

My Nan and cousin Jordan came to visit me and took me to see Star Wars at COSI.

First I met the friendlier characters. R2D2 is just about the same size as me!

This guy is furry like a puppy, but you won't catch me petting him!

You don't scare me Darth Vader. My dad's bigger than you!

Okay, this dude does scare me. I'm just going to pretend I didn't see him.
