The Gang's All Here

I got to spend another weekend with all of my cousins. We had fun playing with the trains that Grampa bought each of us.

Here I am playing with Josh. He's almost as big as me!

We all threw Nan the best birthday party ever.

And we enjoyed a little cake and ice cream.

We also did our fair share of romping around.

A Visit From My Aunts

My Auntie Brynn and Auntie Deena got to come and visit me this week!

They played with me,

read me stories,

fed me,

and even gave me a bath!

I had such a great time with Aunt Deena and Aunt Brynn! I hope they come and visit again soon!

Birthday Bash

All my cousins from Colorado are in town for a visit! On Saturday we celebrated Josh's first birthday and Drew's second.

Here is Josh eating his birthday cake. You should have seen what he looked like when he was all done! He had so much frosting on his face that I didn't know it was him!

Jack liked the cake too.

Sof and me enjoyed a little ice cream with Nan.

There were presents too. I think Aunt Trish was more excited than Josh and Drew to open them.

Drew got some Thomas the Train toys.

Grampa read us some books.

I also spent some quality time eating a snack with my Uncle Aaron

and watching basketball with my Uncle Matt.

My party outfit has the "Aunt Beth stamp of approval".

I'm looking forward to spending more time with my cousins this week.

16 Months and Counting!

I realized it's been a while since I've updated you on all the things I can do now.

I'm not walking on my own yet, but I can walk with the help of furniture and my push toys. I've decided to perfect the art of crawling instead. I'm pretty fast!

I know how to get up and down the stairs too.

I have a few more signs under my belt. This is "banana". I can also sign "bath", "help", and "play".

My true talent lies in talking though. I like to repeat what other people say, but I can say a lot on my own too. I know lots of animal sounds and the names of many of my family members (including all of my cousins). Ask me a question and I'll answer "no". I surprise Mommy and Daddy every day with a new word I've learned. My most recent are "football" and "go Jackets". I LOVE to talk!

I also like to entertain by making silly faces.

I'm learning how to eat with a fork and spoon

and out of a bowl.

I keep busy playing with my toys. I like putting the shapes in my shape sorter and putting puzzles together.

I also like to color at the new table Grammy and Grandpa got me.

Singing is just as fun as talking. I can sing "Ba, Ba Black Sheep" and the night-night song. Maybe I'll be a rock star some day!

And I can't forget my books. I still love a good story. I even have to read in the car and the bathtub. I just can't get enough!

Speaking of reading, I'd better get back to that book I've been meaning to finish.

Bowl Game Blowout

And that's all I have to say about that.

National Championship Eve

'Twas the day before the Bowl Game and we had to begin
To prepare our house for the Buckeyes' big win.

The mantel was decorated with the utmost care.
We even made sure Archie and Krenzel were there.

The child was nestled all snug in her bed,
While visions of a victory danced in her head.

And Mama in her pullover and Daddy in his cap,
Had to make sure they got in their nap.

The Ohio State flag was hung outside
To show our everlasting Buckeye pride.

We used the buckeyes from our backyard tree
To make necklaces for all to see.

We're definitely ready for another chance
To do the National Title Victory dance.

On Pittman, on Smith, on Ginn and Gonzo!
Bring us a win- OH.................IO!!!
