Merry 1st Christmas!

My first Christmas was so much fun! I spent lots of time visiting my family.

I had a blast with all of my crazy cousins!

Sophia and I loved dressing alike.

Here I am helping Grammy open a gift. I got quite good at opening presents!

One of my favorites was a Tiffany rattle from Daddy. Mommy was jealous.

Santa got me this giant stuffed lamb. How did he know my bedroom is all sheep?

Here I am playing with the Gimini gym Grammy and Grandpa got me.

Grammy even made me my own stocking!

I have to say, it was the best Christmas I've ever had!

Santa Claus is coming to town!

Sorry it's been so long since I've written an entry, but as you can see I've been working closely with Santa to make Christmas really special this year. I even have an outfit just like his!

My buddy Drew is also one of Santa's special helpers.

I'm even prepared in case Santa needs me to fill in for one of his reindeer.

I am so excited for my very first Christmas! I know it will be a very special time for me and my family. Happy Holidays everyone!

Has it been 3 months?

Seems like just yesterday that I made my way into the world! I can't believe I've been here for three months now. But looking back, there is so much that I have learned in such a short amount of time.

For starters, I've learned how to work over Mommy and Daddy to get just about anything I want. All it takes is a smile and a coo and they are putty in my hands!

I've learned to play with a lot of different things. Daddy and me especially like my gym. Can you believe he fits under there with me? I also love to look in the mirror and bat at things. I'm getting pretty good at grabbing too!

I've learned to put things in my mouth. My hands are my favorite right now. Unfortunately, I have not learned how to style my own hair. Thanks a lot mom!

I've learned how to help decorate. Here I'm giving Daddy my expert advice about decorating our Christmas tree. I'm getting really excited for Christmas!

Finally, I've learned how to make friends. I just met this snowman. He seems pretty nice.

My First Turkey Day!

Here I am, all dressed up for my very first Thanksgiving. My family came over and ate A LOT of food. They have lots to be thankful for this year, especially ME!

This year we thought it would be fun to make placecards out of my handprints.

Nan and my cousin Drew came to celebrate Thanksgiving with me, along with Jack, Aunt Trish, Aunt Mel, Uncle Aaron, Tolga, Grampa, and Grammy and Grandpa Crane. Check out my bib!
All in all, it was a great day to spend with my family. We were all pretty tired after eating all that turkey!

Kissin' Cousins

This weekend I met my cousin Sophia for the first time! She is about 6 weeks older than me and she lives in Colorado. We've got to stick together because we are the only two girl cousins.

Here we are in our matching dresses!

I also watched my boy cousins play. They are crazy! Sophie and I can't wait until we're old enough to run around with them.

O-H....I-O!!!

I am told that tomorrow is the biggest football game in my life, Ohio State vs. Michigan. I'm too young to understand what all the fuss is about. All I know is Mommy and Daddy have been carting me around in my OSU cheerleading outfit all week long.

Unfortunately, my buddy Drew and his family are Michigan fans. That's okay Drew, we can still be friends!
Drew looks worried. I'd be worried about the game too if I were a Michigan fan!

That's better!

Even in my sleep, I know that Ohio State is number one. Go Bucks! Beat Michigan!!!

My Baptism

Today was a very special day for me. I was baptized into the church! I am so happy to be a member of God's family now. Mommy and Daddy were very proud.

Wow! That water was cold, but I didn't cry.

Here are my godparents Marissa (mommy's cousin) and Aaron (mommy's brother-in-law).

Quite a crowd gathered to watch me get baptized! Here are all of the Crane's that "migrated" to Columbus.

Here is Mommy's side of the family.

Mommy and Daddy's friends came too. My buddy Drew was there, of course!

Grammy Shelley and my Aunts came all the way from Michigan!

I got all dressed up for the occasion. My Nan and Grandma Crane bought me my beautiful dress and Karla from Mommy's work knitted my blanket. Aren't I just a sight!

It was such a special day! I am so lucky to have so many wonderful people who love me!

Two Months Old!

Hard to believe I'm already in my third month of life since I was born! Time sure flies when you're out in the world. I've changed so much since birth. I am awake a lot more, which leaves me time to talk, make faces, and smile. I'm still working on laughing. I hold my head up and can prop myself up when I'm on my belly. Some things have not changed so much. One of my favorite activities is still being in my swing, and I still have a very healthy appetite (just like mommy). Here I am enjoying the fall weather.

I recently learned that there is one bad thing about being two months old - SHOTS! I had to get some shots at the doctor and I did not like them one bit. I screamed a little and then was fine, but I don't want shots ever again. I did find out that I am now 13 pounds, which is a lot for my age. I told you I could eat!

My First Halloween!

I think Halloween started early this year. At least it did in my house! It seems like mommy had me dressed in that darn costume just about every day in October. Boy am I glad to be done with that thing. Anyway, here are some highlights from my first Halloween.

Me and our pumpkins.

Me and my kitty. Isn't he scary looking? I think he could eat me!

Me and my cousin Superman (it's really Mike-Mike).

Me and the babies from birthing class. You guessed it, I'm the one in the lamb outfit.

Me with some of mommy's class from last year. I got to go see the parade at mommy's work!

Me and Mrs. Seeler. She works at mommy's school.

Me and the neighborhood kids on Halloween.

Our pumpkins this year. Daddy carved mine- it's the little one!

Even though I got pretty tired of wearing my costume, Halloween was a lot of fun. Our house was all lit up and I loved staring at the colored lights. I even went to some of the neighbors' houses and got some candy. Mom and dad wouldn't let me eat any of it though. Maybe next year!
