Giving Thanks

This year we celebrated Thanksgiving at Aunt Donna's house so we could be with Grampa, who had just had heart surgery. Much of the Drlik family was there to celebrate with us.
 The beautiful cooks!
Ava read a passage for us again this year.
When we returned home, Daddy still cooked his famous turkey for us.
And Ava was happy to eat it!
Just like every year, we have so much to be thankful for. God has provided us with a happy home full of love and laughter. Grampa's surgery was a success and he is mending quickly. Our children are healthy and thriving at school. And we are surrounded by wonderful family and friends who do so much for us!
Blessings abound!

Ava's First Reconciliation

In preparation for her First Communion this Spring, Ava participated in her First Reconciliation over the weekend. We are so proud of how seriously she took this sacrament! It is so wonderful to watch her relationship with God grow and deepen.

Brownie Artwork

Ava graduated from Daisies to Brownies at the end of last year. One of her latest activities was taking a class at Michael's to create an original piece of artwork. I'll let you be the judge of her handiwork (I think it is quite amazing).

Tiny Dancer

Lily just finished up on her first ballet class. She learned so much from Ms. Suzanne! Stay tuned... she will be returning to class in January.
