Flora and Fauna

Now that it's Spring, I spend a lot more time outside. I'm finding out that there's a whole new world just outside my door!

One of my favorite things to do is swing at the park.

My Great Aunt Donna introduced me to horses for the first time over Easter weekend.

They were so much bigger than me. One even tasted my hand!

I also had a close encounter with a rabbit. No, it wasn't the Easter Bunny.

Later that day we took a ride with Gi-Gi (great grandma Crane) and saw some deer. I really liked seeing all those animals for the first time!

The Easter Bunny Has Arrived

I had a fun and exciting Easter weekend! It all kicked off with an Easter egg hunt at my Nan's on Saturday. I had lots of cousins to compete with, and they can walk!

So not all of them can walk, but Drew can at least crawl.

That's okay though. Mommy carried me and Aunt Mel put the eggs in the basket.

Jack and Mikey were able to find a lot of eggs. Mikey was the man with a plan. When we weren't looking, he put all of our eggs in his basket.

Josh would rather sleep. More eggs for me!

Jack sure enjoyed himself!

It was a nice day outside

so we did some swinging too,

and I hung out with Grampa.

On Sunday, we got all dressed up and went to church. Then we went over to Great Uncle Dick and Aunt Lo's with Grammy, Grandpa, and Aunt Mel.

Grammy bought me my first Easter outfit. Isn't it pretty?

Ready for Easter

This Sunday is my first Easter and I am so excited to spend it with my family!

My Aunt Mel bought me these silly rabbit ears so I could look like the Easter Bunny. My Nan and Aunt Trish also bought me books to teach me about Jesus and how Easter came about.

Over the weekend I went on my first Easter Egg Hunt at a friend's house. I did pretty well for how small I am! I didn't think the eggs tasted so good though.

I also got to have an early Easter celebration with Drew. We practiced our egg hunting skills.

The Many Faces of Ava Crane

I'm still a little shy when I'm not at home, but when I am I can be quite the entertainer! One way that I keep Mommy and Daddy laughing is by making faces. Here are some of my favorites.

I have perfected the art of face-making!

I'm Seven Months Old!

Now that I'm seven months old, there's a lot of things that I know how to do. Sitting up is just one of them!

Remember how much I love to play with my toes? Well now I can get them in my mouth! Tasty!

I like eating more than just my toes. I've grown fond of all kinds of fruits and veggies. I especially like green beans and bananas. Next I'm going to try finger foods.

I've been showing a lot more of my personality. Mom and Dad say I'm quite the ham, whatever that means. I think it has something to do with all the funny faces and crazy noises I make.
Just wait until they see what I've got in store this month!

Joshua's Baptism

My baby cousin Joshua got baptized over the weekend. He was a good sport!

Mommy and Uncle Rodman are his godparents.

What a nice looking family!

Here's another nice looking family.

I got all dressed up for such a special occasion.
