Sweet Dreams

Luckily for my Mommy and Daddy, I LOVE to sleep. Here are some of my favorite ways to sleep.

In my carseat during a long car ride,

in my swing cuddled up with a blanket,

in my bed all swaddled and tucked in for the night,

here I managed to get an arm out,

in my swing with my silkie blanket,

sprawled out in my crib,

cuddled up with my dad on the couch,

or my mom in bed.

Happy Birthday Andrew!

Over the weekend we went to Cleveland to celebrate my cousin Andrew's first birthday. I hope when I turn one that I'll get a cake all to myself like he did!

Andrew's real birthday isn't until February 5th, but his mommy is going to have my cousin Joshua any day now so we had to celebrate early. That's right, another boy cousin!

I had fun watching my other cousin Jack play with his trains. I think he's kind of cute.

My cousin Mike-Mike was there too. He likes to beep my nose. He's so silly!

Daddy and I spent some quality time together watching football on the couch. I was pretty tired out after all the partying!

A Busy Week

What a week this has been!

I got to test out my bathtub skills in a swimming pool for the first time. Mommy tells me I will be taking swim lessons pretty soon. I can't wait!

I also learned how to roll from my back to my tummy. I kept trying and trying. Finally I got it! You'll have to come visit me if you want to see it for yourself.

I took a few walks in my stroller because the weather was SO NICE! I can sit in the part for big girls now.

I went to visit Drew too. I tried to hold his hand, but he played hard to get.

All of my adventures this week made me very sleepy. Good night!

Happy Birthday to Nan!

Today is my Nan's birthday! I can't tell you which birthday this is, I'll just say that she's OLD.

Nan and Grampa came to visit me over the weekend. We had lots of fun!

Four Months!

Now that I'm four months old, I thought I'd update you on all the things that I can do now.

I spend a lot more time on my tummy. I can roll onto my back, but I'm still trying to roll back the other way. I've been practicing though!

There's lots of things I like to do on my tummy. Reading books is just one of them! I also like to put toys in my mouth and look in the mirror.

I also can sit in my highchair! It's a little big for me yet, but I like playing in it while Mommy and Daddy eat dinner. One of my favorite activities is still eating. I've already doubled my birth-weight! Pretty soon I'll get to try cereal. Wonder who I get my appetite from?

I can laugh, but I make Mommy and Daddy try really hard before I'll do it. It's a fun little game I like to play with them! I am an excellent fake cougher though. I know exactly how to get their attention. This next month I'm sure I'll find other ways to do just that!

Football isn't over?

I thought football season was over when we beat Michigan. So you can imagine my surprise when Mommy and Daddy dressed me in my cheerleading outfit on a Monday!

As you can see, it's getting a little snug. Hopefully next season I can get a new one. Oh yeah, my team won!

Happy New Year!

I celebrated my first New Year's Eve with my Grammy and Grandpa Crane. I think they were asleep by 10:00. Meanwhile, I partied in my crib with my sheep until well past midnight.

I sent Mommy and Daddy out with the Pughs for the night. They didn't last long without me though.
As for my New Year's resolution, you know the usual - watch what I eat, read more. Oh, and LEARN HOW TO WALK!
