Trick or Treat!

We had an action-packed Halloween this year! Ava and Lily's costumes were both fun and educational. Lily was a caterpillar, Ava was a butterfly.
Last weekend we celebrated with the cousins at trick-or-trunk in Toledo.

Then we came home and carved our pumpkins from the Pumpkin Farm. Ava was able to be a little more "hands-on" this year. Lily would have liked to be!

Ava had a parade and party at her school.

Then we trick-or-treated at our house. This is the fifth year that Ava and Drew went together!

Some special guests came by to celebrate Halloween with us.

Taylor the witch.

Lauren, her new baby sister.

And Laken the pumpkin.
The next day was an 80 degree day, so we went to Boo at the Zoo!

Oh, but we weren't done yet! We still had to trick-or-treat at Mimi and Papa's house. Aunt Mel came into town to go with us.

And that officially ended our week-long celebration of Halloween!

Fall and Football

Fall seemed to come out of nowhere this year! One week we were swimming at the pool, the next we were sporting our jeans and long-sleeved shirts. We are always sad to see summer go, but fall brings one of our favorite pastimes- FOOTBALL! Ava definitely understands what Buckeye Day is all about, we're still working on Lily.

Another thing that we enjoy about the fall is our yearly visit to the pumpkin farm. We get to see lots of farm animals,

go on a hay ride,

pick our pumpkins to carve for Halloween,

ride a tractor and a pony,

and take all kinds of silly pictures!

Next up, Halloween!
