Spring Break: Part 2
We spent the second part of Spring Break in sunny and warm Toledo, Ohio. More like cold and cloudy! It's been a long time since we've visited with our cousins. The highlight of our trip was watching Jordan play the drums in the high school caberet show. What a rock star!

Spring Break: Part 1
We just got back from a fun and exciting trip to Cincinatti and Nashville! The four of us spent a day at the Cincinatti Children's Museum and then headed on to Nashville.
The best part about our trip was the weather! Close to 80 degrees and sunny the whole time! The girls jumped and skipped everywhere, so excited to be in short sleeves and no jackets. I have to admit we were skipping a bit too in the sunshine.
When we got to Nashville on Saturday, we met one of Ava's favorite preschool teachers at the Loveless Cafe. She was so happy and surprised to see Ms. Cindy! We had a great time together.
On Sunday we went to the Nashville Children's Theatre to see Goodnight Moon. After a rest we went to the Nashville strip to check out some of the nightlife. That's where we took a lot of our goofball pictures. The highlight of the night was a horse-drawn carriage ride around downtown Nashville. Bill the horse was even nice enough to take us back to the hotel!
The next day we went to the Nashville Zoo. The animals were cool, but their Jungle Gym was AMAZING! After a quick rest, we headed back to the Nashville strip to catch some live music. The girls did some serious dancing. We had dinner outdoors and did a little shopping. With their new cowboy hat, honky-tonk guitar, and harmonicas, they have officially connected with their country roots!
Tuesday, on the way home, we hit another place to eat from the Food Network. It was called Lynn's Paradise Cafe. The food was easily the best we had! The restaurant was quite a site to behold with its crazy, ecclectic decor.
The BEST part of the trip was watching how excited the girls were about the things we take for granted- staying at a hotel, short sleeves, eating outdoors, Elvis... Stay tuned for Part 2!
