Bolf!

Unlike most one-year-olds, I like to watch golf (I call it bolf). My favorite player is Tiger Woods. I knew he would be in town over the weekend playing at the Memorial, so I begged Mommy to take me.

It was a very hot day, but I hung in there with my cup of water and pretzels. I got to see Tiger play 8 holes! Here are some close-ups.

Tiger and his caddie Steve.

"Hewow?"

Watching Tiger made me realize that I really need to work on my golf game.

Memorial Day

Today we celebrated Memorial Day by going to a parade.

It was my first one, so I was pretty excited!

We even wore red, white and blue.

Marissa and Bill came over for a cookout later in the day.

Marissa is having a baby, and I can't wait to be a real big helper when she comes.

I finished off the day by swinging in the new swing Daddy made for me. Now I can swing whenever I want!

Par-tay!

We kicked off Memorial Day weekend with a party at Drew's house. We had LOTS of fun!

First we got our grub on at the kiddy table.

Then we played a little corn hole.

Turns out I'm a natural!

Me and Drew cruised the hood for a little while.

Then I chilled with Lisa (Daddy works with her).

"No, no Ava."

So I swigged a Capri Sun instead.

I did some catching up with my girl Avery.

Then we had some fun in the pool!

I dried off and enjoyed another Capri Sun.

Whew! All this partying sure tires you out!

Together Again!

My cousin Sophie (or Fifi, as I like to call her) came into town with my Aunt Gina for a few days. We were so happy to be together again! Here are some pictures from our time together.

Swinging with Uncle Nick.

Taking a bath.

Going to the Toledo Zoo with Nan, Grampa, and Great-Grandma Thelma.

Here we are on the train.

Drinking out of silly straws.

Enjoying a snack.

Petting a tiger.

And running wild through the zoo! As always, I had such a great time with Sophie. We will be friends for life!

Mother's Day Weekend

I had a very busy Mother's Day weekend! On Saturday I went to my very first bridal shower for my Aunt Melissa. There was lots of good food and presents, but no bath tub or rubber duckie!

Me and Mommy with the bride-to-be.

Aunt Melissa and soon-to-be Uncle Tolga.

This is Tolga's mommy! She came all the way from Turkey (the country).

Mmmm, dessert!

I thought I'd give Aunt Mel a hand with the gift opening.

On Sunday, we celebrated Mother's Day.

First we went to Church. Look at all the mommies in this picture!

Then we went back to Nan's (notice the matching dresses).

Then we hung out at Grammy's where I gave Gi-Gi her card.

And I gave Grammy the flower pot I made for her.

Nan got one too. I was happy to celebrate Mother's Day with so many of my favorite moms!

Pearson Park

After I visited John Carroll, Mommy and me went to Toledo to visit family. On Monday, we went to Pearson Park with Nan, Aunt Beth, and Mike-Mike. Mommy told me her grandma and grandpa used to take her there when she was little! Here are some pictures from our visit to the park.
