Memorial Day Weekend

We truly got a taste of summer over Memorial Day weekend! The weather was perfect and allowed us to have an all-American good time. We kicked the weekend off by heading to our first Clippers game of the season.

Nan and Grampa came to visit. Nan helped us plant our garden, and Grampa took "B" for his first ride in the truck.

We spent some time in the backyard and had our first cook-out. Then we headed to the pool!

Ahhhhh.... the perfect end to a perfect weekend!

Mom's Night/Preschool Graduation

These last few weeks of preschool have been busy ones! Lily has learned so much during her last year of preschool. She has made some wonderful friends,

 including her "best" friend Nora.

 She's developed a love of math while working in her math journal.

 She's learned some great songs and dances.

 We already knew that she was an awesome artist!

We are so proud of our graduate. Kindergarten, here we come!

First Communion Weekend

There is nothing quite like watching your child receive Holy Communion for the first time. We were so blessed to be by Ava's side this weekend as she made her First Communion. It was a wonderful event, and it meant a great deal to her as well.

Much of our family was there to support Ava, making the day even more special!

The very next day was Josh's First Communion, so we headed to Toledo to celebrate his special day.

Today, Ava participated in May Crowning at her school. She played the xylophone in the music program and processed into church for the crowning of Mary.

God is definitely alive in our family! We are so blessed to be part of such a wonderful community.
