Seven Months and Counting!

Lily is 7 months old now and growing like a weed (or a flower). She is quickly outgrowing her carseat, clothes, shoes, and baby toys. Just look at how long she is!

Lily loves just about any kind of food that comes her way- even prunes! She eats solid food three times a day and still nurses 5-7 times.

Lily is a pro at taking naps now. She sleeps twice a day and will go down without a fuss and without her binky! Ava hasn't even mastered that yet.

She spends most of her waking hours playing. Her most favorite activity- kicking her legs. There are many places where she likes to play and kick...

The gymini is still a big hit. Especially now that she can roll both ways to reach everything.

She likes to sit in her Bumbo seat to play too. Here she is playing Pretty Pretty Princess with Ava.

The exersaucer is a new toy this month. She figured out how to turn around in it on the very first day!

It is really fun to watch Lily grow and develop her personality. We enjoy hanging out each day and going to the gym, the library, and on errands. She likes to be out and about with Mommy and Ava! Stay tuned for more updates.

Maggie's Birthday!

Ava and Lily were invited to Maggie's 3rd birthday party. Between the cupcake decorating, present opening, balloons, and dress-up clothes, much fun was had by all!

Valentine Fun!

This year we found many ways to celebrate Valentine's Day.

We hand-made valentines and goodies for our loved ones (which Ava enjoyed sampling).

Ava enjoyed her school party with Mimi and liked opening her valentines.

Ava also went to her first dance! Papa was her date.

We surprised Daddy with customized M&M's. They had pictures of the girls on them!

Daddy surprised us with Valentine books. Lily really liked hers!

We hope that all of you were able to celebrate your Valentine's Day with your loved ones too! Happy Valentine's Day!!!

Peas, please!

So we gave Lily her first taste of veggies last night. I figured, let's start with a least favorite- peas. Would you believe that the girl ate them up? Loved 'em! Another one that takes after Mommy.
More please!
