Tea with Mimi

We decided to take Mimi out for a ladies' lunch this week. Here are some pictures from our adventure.

Maassel Invasion!

Last Friday all of the Maassels came to visit for the day! When you have six kids under the age of 7, it's best to keep them busy. Our first outing was to Scioto Park. The boys found lots to do by the river and in the creek.



After eating dinner at a pizza joint, we headed over to the Splash Park in Dublin. It took a while for the kids to warm up, but after that they were all about it! Even Lily got in on the action.




Sam just wanted to crawl up the hill.

Vacation Bible School

Ava just finished a week of Vacation Bible School at our church! She met a few new friends, had some yummy snacks, and learned a lot about Jesus.




We all enjoyed the music too!




Ava and Lils are still dancing and singing to it at home!

Lily's Day Out

Today Mimi and Papa took Lily to the zoo all by herself! She can be very entertaining when she doesn't have to share the spotlight.

She got to pet a flamingo,

watch the fishies,

play on the playground,

ride the carousel,

ride the boat,

and feed the birds.
One bird thought it might be fun to perch on her head!

Father's Day

We had a pretty low-key Father's Day this year since Aaron and I were in Indy until mid-afternoon. We celebrated over at Mimi and Papa's in the evening.



The girls were happy to help Papa open his gifts. Ava worked very hard on making a card for Papa.


Daddy also enjoyed homemade cards from the girls. We appreciate ALL of the dads in our lives and the wonderful ways that they love us.

Sammy Turns One!

On June 5th my nephew Samuel turned one. This past week we celebrated his birthday at Johnny Rockets with all of the cousins.

Whenever the cousins get together, there's bound to be some craziness!

Cranes, Saparas, and Bears!

While Aunt Beth, Mikey, and Jordan were visiting we had to show off the new Polar Bear exhibit at the Columbus Zoo.

Ava and Mike were our tour guides for the day.
