Halloween

We took our pumpkin carving very seriously this year! Although it was a bit challenging carving a masterpiece with a fidgety 3-year-old in my lap.

We ended up with a Minecraft pumpkin, an OH-IO pumpkin, and Tinkerbell. She was the only one standing by the time Halloween rolled around!

Both Ava and Lily wanted to try out scary Halloween costumes this year. Bennett dressed as his favorite cartoon character, Pocoyo.

It was a nice night for trick-or-treating and they all cleaned up in the candy department!
They also got to show off their costumes in their school parades.

We headed to Mimi and Papa's to trick or treat and to visit with the Tomars (and Emine).

Everyone had a great time!

Bennett's Birthday Celebration

We FINALLY got around to throwing a party for Bennett's 3rd birthday this weekend! Lots of family and friends showed up to celebrate with us.

Some of his favorite gifts were a scooter, a Blue Jackets hat and sweatsuit, an OSU sweatshirt, Thomas Take and Play set, racing cars, and puzzles.
On his actual birthday, we took him to the zoo. Ava and Lily helped make his birthday cake, and we had a quiet celebration at home.

We are so blessed to celebrate another year with Bennett! He has always been the perfect addition to our family. We love you B!

Fall Family Fun

Now that fall is here, we have been able to do many fun things! On Bennett's birthday we took a trip to the zoo. We visited our usual favorites, and we were able to feed the giraffes at the new Africa exhibit.

We also made our annual trip to pick apples at Lynd's Fruit Farm.

The fall festival at the Oakland Nursery is becoming a favorite too!

Happy Fall everyone!

Ava the Cheerleader

Ava has wanted to be a cheerleader since she was just a little girl.

This year she is finally old enough to cheer for the St. Brendan Dolphin football team! Needless to say, she is a natural and she loves it.
