First Day of Pre-K

Ava started school today! She is in the Pre-K class at Dublin Community Preschool. I went with her today and quickly realized that she is becoming a big kid! She mingled well with her classmates, rode the bikes with ease, and listened intently at circle time. We can't wait to see what surprises this school year will hold!

Ava is Five!

This weekend we are celebrating Ava's fifth birthday. On Friday we invited a few of her friends to the park for cake (which she helped to make). All of the kids had a blast playing together! Saturday, her actual birthday, we went to Drew's birthday party. Drew and Ava were born just a day apart in the same hospital, so we usually end up celebrating their special days together! Later in the day Ava chose her birthday dinner to be at Chipotle, where she found a green pepper in the shape if a 5! On Sunday we headed to Toledo to celebrate with all the cousins. Ava took a few wacks at her pinata, enjoyed yummy cupcakes, and opened a few gifts. I'd say it was a celebration Ava will not soon forget!
