Campin' with the Cooks

Last Friday I got my first taste of what it's like to camp out. Me and Mommy went to visit our friends, the Cooks, up at Alum Creek.

It was rainy outside so we stayed in the camper. But we found plenty to do inside.

Me and Megan read books together.

Matt did some fishing.

Mike introduced me to the "Future Buckeye" DVD.

Merry played with me too!

Then me and Megan hung out in our PJ's.

On Sunday we all went to the zoo.

The fish were fun to watch.

I rode my first horse!

We saw kangaroos.

And I got to meet a giant caterpillar!

Me and Drew's Birthday Bash

Me and Drew decided that we should have a birthday party together since we're such good buddies. We thought a football party would be the perfect theme (okay, our Mommies and Daddies came up with that part).

We got these shirts made special for the big day.

Here we are, waiting patiently for our cake.

Here's our cakes before we got a hold of them.

Didn't take us long to dig in. We're pros at this by now!

Hey, this stuff is good!

I tried to eat as much as I could before they took it away.

After a quick bath, we opened our presents.

It has been a lot of fun sharing my first year with Drew and his family. I'm so glad that we're friends! I wonder how we're going to top this next year?

Rootin' for the Buckeyes

On Saturday, I went over to Aunt Amy and Uncle Mike Pugh's for a day of football.

It was exactly a year ago that Mommy and Daddy took me there for my first night out! Look how much bigger I am!

First I helped my Aunt Amy cheer for her team, Penn State. I somehow got to meet their coach. He looks much younger in person.

Then it was time for the Buckeyes to play. I sat in my new Ohio State chair and cheered right along with the rest of the crowd! O-H......I-O!

They let me stay up until half-time. I cuddled with Amy and Mike, even though they're not Buckeye fans. You can see that I'm intently watching the game.

Even Marissa showed up to cheer with me. We rooted the Buckeyes on to a victory!

Napalooza

It's no secret that I love to sleep! And I can sleep in just about every position imaginable. Mom and Dad never know what they're going to find when they come to get me up!
I can sleep face-down with my blankey.

I can sleep with my head jammed into the side of my crib.

I can sleep with my feet through the rails.

I'm not sure what this is all about!

And my all-time favorite- I can sleep with my butt in the air. Sweet dreams!

I'm One!

Happy birthday to me! I just turned one year old! We celebrated all weekend long.

I had a birthday party at my Uncle Nick's on Saturday. Lots of my friends and family showed up to sing "Happy Birthday" to me.

I especially liked when I got to eat my birthday cake! Mommy never lets me do this at home!

I had fun opening presents too.

I got some nice toys, books, and clothes.

On Sunday I had a birthday party up at the Lake with my Daddy's side of the family.

We went on a boat ride and I got to drive!

Then I got to eat birthday cake again!!!

Mmmmm, caaaaake.

We also celebrated my Daddy's birthday (he's 30), along with my cousin's Kelly and Dominick, and my Uncle Geoff.

Then I opened some more presents.

Here I am reading my new book with my new jacket and hat on in my new Ohio State chair. Even though I don't have much to compare it to, I'd say it was a pretty good birthday weekend. Thanks everybody for making it so special!
