Bennett's First Birthday!

Tonight Bennett officially turned a year old! He's a couple of weeks late, but that's because he was sick on his actual birthday. Tonight he got another chance to eat his smash cake, which is the proper way we celebrate a first birthday around here. He wasn't too sure at first...

... but after tasting that chocolate goodness, it was ON!

Although he was feeling quite under the weather on his birthday, we decided that the party must go on. Many   of our friends and family joined us for a Buckeye football-themed party. As usual, the weather was a bit uncooperative, but everyone that came still had a good time.

A family friend made this adorable shirt for B to wear for the occasion.

And another friend made his birthday cake, which tasted as amazing as it looks!

Bennett wasn't quite up to the task though. Poor guy!

But the rest of the kids had a blast!

We are so happy that B is feeling better and back to his usual antics.
