Then we headed over to Aunt Laurie and Uncle Dick's. Justin, Uncle Jeff, and Jill were there too. As always, the food was outstanding (Aunt Lo is quite the cook) and the company was entertaining. Lily and Ava especially loved playing with the dogs.
We headed back to Nan and Grampa's house to stay the night. We weren't sure if Santa would find us there, but we decided to write a note just in case.
Ava was very excited the next morning to discover that Santa had found us after all! Lily was suffering the consequences of being up late the night before.
Ava was excited to place Jesus in the Nativity scene. We also sang him "Happy Birthday". We spent Christmas Day at Beth and Matt's house. The theme was "Pajama Christmas". The cousins played all day long!
This year especially, we realize how precious life is and how important it is to not take even the little things for granted. We hope that you enjoyed a wonderful Christmas with your family and loved ones!
