Vacation Bible School

The girls had a fantastic week at Vacation Bible School! The theme this year was "Weird Animals". They enjoyed singing and dancing to the music, meeting new friends, and seeing their cousins each day.

Cedar Point

A road trip to Cedar Point with Mimi, Papa, and the Tomars is now a summer tradition. This year was SO much fun, and we celebrated some pretty amazing firsts!

Bennett was a wild man! No ride was too scary or too big for him this year. He loved them all!

Besides being Bennett's "wing man", Ava accomplished some big feats while we were there too. She went down a really big water slide and she rode the Mine Ride! Two things I was too afraid to do...

Poor Lils wasn't feeling good during our trip, so we were just happy she made it through each day!

We had a great time celebrating summer and being together as a family!

It is so great having the time to do all of the things we LOVE to do together!

Eat ice cream with friends,

Go to the zoo,

Visit the library,

Catch lightning bugs,

School's Out!

Summer has officially begun for ALL of us!! After a successful year as a Pre-Kindergartner, second grader, and 5th grade math teacher, we are anxious to enjoy some time together.

Bring on summer!!

Memorial Day Weekend

We truly got a taste of summer over Memorial Day weekend! The weather was perfect and allowed us to have an all-American good time. We kicked the weekend off by heading to our first Clippers game of the season.

Nan and Grampa came to visit. Nan helped us plant our garden, and Grampa took "B" for his first ride in the truck.

We spent some time in the backyard and had our first cook-out. Then we headed to the pool!

Ahhhhh.... the perfect end to a perfect weekend!
